Why Noema Studio

I was a Registered Nurse for eight years. I then completed a Master of Health Administration and spent five years in healthcare leadership. That background means I understand pharmacology, contraindications, and the physiological dimensions of psychedelic experiences with clinical literacy. It means I can hold the medical complexity of this space clearly and honestly. Your safety isn’t something I learned in a weekend workshop. It’s foundational to how I was trained and how I think.

I’m a certified practitioner through the Psychedelic Coaching Institute. My training was developed and delivered by a faculty of globally recognized experts across psychedelic research, psychology, neuroscience, and consciousness studies.

The modalities and frameworks woven through my training and practice include:

—Internal Family Systems (IFS)

—Nervous system and somatic regulation

—Acceptance-based approaches

—Systems thinking

—Contemplative and meditative practices

I've used psychedelics intentionally, with preparation and integration, at significant crossroads in my own life. I know what it is to sit with uncertainty before an experience, to meet what arises during one, and to do the slow work of integration afterward. I maintain an active personal practice and ongoing supervision. I do not ask clients to go anywhere I have not been willing to go myself.

I work with a number of medicines personally, maintaining direct, embodied experience with what my clients may be navigating. I stay current with the rapidly evolving research landscape around psychedelics, consciousness, and human transformation. This field is young and moving quickly. I'm committed to growing with it.

My work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including the New England Journal of Medicine. While my research background is in healthcare and health systems, the analytical rigour and commitment to evidence that shaped that work is present in everything I do at Noema Studio.
